Ford Galaxie LTD 6 seater.

One of the last to be manufactured in Australia in November 1972.

1^st registered February 1973 by the Melbourne Premiers Department.

We purchased this vehicle in 1975 and used it as a mourning coach for a number of years. For the past 25 years it has remained in ownership of the company, but used rarely.

This vehicle is in excellent near-original condition. It has an after-market air conditioner fitted, and we gave it its gun-metal grey colour to match our hearse at the time.

It has a genuine 84,500 miles on it.The engine is a 400ci petrol V8. As to be expected in a vehicle of this vintage, there is some rust present, particularly in the boot area. The fuel gauge is unreliable. Registered (S.A.) until July 28, 2012. Located in Klemzig S.A.

Fully reconditioned frigid fluid lowering device on a state funeral stand with velvet surround, has new straps and comes with a safety certificate.

Being a funeral directors model the lowering device can be removed from the stand and folds up to be carried in a hearse.
